"Initiative Minorities" against racism, exclusion and antiziganism

The fourth classes of the ZBG Oberwart worked through terror bombing

Even nearly 30 years after the letter- and pipe bomb terror attack in Austria the "Initiative Minorities" in cooperation with the VHS of the Roma want to set a sign against right-wing terror. Both our fourth classes took part in a workshop with Melinda Tamás, human rights adviser of the University of Applied Arts, Vienna. Topics like discrimination, racism, exclusion, civil courage and solidarity were discussed and possible parallels were highlighted.

The participation in this workshop shows the importance of a peaceful co-existence of different ethnic groups and nationalities at our grammar school.
